The fireflies that embellish the trees

“The fireflies that embellish the trees” is a short story based on a Matlatzinca custom, a tale that rescues a Saint Peter’s Day tradition in which people and fireflies took care of trees so they bear more fruits. This cut out illustration took part in the Illustrators’ Club group exhibition “Sixty eight voices and sixty eight hearts”, organized by the Mexican embassy in Bucharest at the Cervantes Institute in the month of september 2017.
