When unseen people approach your work with kind appreciating words and go even further buying your creations, the world changes all of a sudden from a jungle to a tame garden. But when those people are talented artists, you know there isn’t enough place in that envelope for your gratitude. So the packaging must carry gracefully this task.
I’m not a big fan of the ready made and if I have time I prefer to craft it by hand. The cosmic packaging below is my alchemical mixture of watercolor, Fabriano paper and Sigur Rós. And I know I put soul into this one because the scale at the post office confirmed: the envelope weighted exactly 21 grams.
